Why It Is Important To Have Your Own Blogs
Posted on January 24th, 2012 | by AlinaMccollum |Lately I’m posting to quite a few blogs to advertise my own website, almost all the blogs on which I chose to work were based on wordpress, so far we all agree that WordPress is perfect for casual as well as professional bloggers, with the GPL liberal license make the WordPress the most popular weblog platform on the Internet.
Then I found out that I probably should build blogs myself, subsequently I can use my own blogs to promote my other websites, of course this is not a new idea, all kinds of blog networks are out there for the exact purpose, anyway those are other people’s asset and I have no control, in addition there is no way I can post to them, probably I will have to pay quite dearly to have my sites promoted.
Its quite difficult to manage more than a few blogs manually, if you’re not going to just put spams on them, the real content writing is time and money consuming, its never easy to build successful blogs. Check out a couple of interesting blogs, such as this one, Cargo Control, the domain name is pretty good, the content on the site is not bad, since this is not a themed blog, almost any interesting posts get posted on it. One more example, Dog Show, this blog has a theme, the content on the this site has a theme, there are a few well ranked keywords for this blog. I can show you a lot more sites, but I believe you get the idea. Last but not least, you should build some casual blogs, put some random content on those blogs occasionally, such as this blog, Flat Bed Tie Downs, your blogging network looks more natural with these casual blogs.
After you successfully build a few blogs, you can try to build a few more, the old blogs will be helpful in promoting your newly built ones, this way you get your little blog network rolling. It sounds pretty simple, but the real stuff will be more complicated, one of the most important things is that don’t get your site kicked out by major search engines.
